NEWS: VHS Basketball Donation

Amber and CC presented the Women’s and Men’s Basketball Teams with new shoes for the upcoming season. The special delivery was made prior to a team practice as they prepare for the upcoming season.The Lady Apaches will wear Nike’s HyperDunk Team Shoes with the Men sporting the Brand Jordan Fly 23′s Team Shoes in red and white.
CC played for some of the best Apache Basketball Teams in the schools history in 1997 and 1998 with Amber cheering from the sidelines as a member of the Apache Cheerleading Team.
“This contribution gives our kids a great boost” said Athletic Director Mike Wilson Sr. ”The players, coaches, and support staff are very grateful to Amber and CC.” Varsity Head Coach Duke Brown added “many of our student-athletes cannot afford quality playing shoes – nor can our athletic department purchase in such high volume so this really improves our program in many facets.”
Both teams feature many great players including guard Tajai Johnson who has signed a letter of intent to UC Riverside. ”CC really hooked it up – my team mates and I are pumped to wear Brand Jordans this year and we will not disappoint!”
